can I still join?
Registration for the 2010 club is now closed. Aign up to be notified for upcoming clubs.
when do I get my kits?
As a member of the Year of Lace, you'll be shipped a premium lace knitting kit in March, June, September, and December.
how are kits shipped?
All kits ship near the end of the month specified above. Canada and International kits will be shipped via Canada Post. Within Canada, you can expect to receive your kit within 2 weeks of shipment date, generally around the 3rd weekend of the month. Kits sent to Europe, Australia, or the rest of the world may take up to 6 weeks.
For our subscribers in the US, we have been able to ship your kits from within the US. Your kits will arrive within 1 week of shipment date, in most cases. We try to stagger the shipping dates so that most folks receive their kits in a similar timeframe. However, please understand that once the kits are off and running, exact delivery date is out of our control.
Due to the large volume, cost and complexity of shipping, we are unable to provide tracking or signature confirmation on any shipments.
address changes
Please email info@yearoflace.com with any address updates. The logins for self-administration have been disabled due to a server issue.
In order to guarantee your shipping address, changes MUST be sent prior to the 30th of May, August, and November.
returns and cancellations
Due to planning constaints, all sales of Year of Lace subscriptions are final. If you're not thrilled with a particular kit, why not trade it? Each of the four kits will have a distinct flavour, so we're certain you'll love them more often than not.
I just want to buy one pattern...
The Year of Lace is a subscription club, similar to a sock club or fiber club. Patterns and yarn are only available to current subscribers. One year after the pattern is published, rights to it revert to the designer, who may or may not decide to offer it as a pattern for sale.
can I buy a single kit?
Sorry, but kits are only available to subscribers for the full year.
who are the designers for 2010?
